Entry-Level Automotive Detailer / Apprentice Buff Works

• Freehold, NY Passion for Perfection Starts Here Buff Works is an award-winning, family-owned automotive appearance and protection company specializing in Paint Protection Film (PPF), Ceramic Coatings, Window Tint, Paint Correction, and Professional Detailing.

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Detailer / Apprentice who takes pride in their work, has a strong work ethic, and wants to build a long-term career in the automotive protection industry. This position is ideal for someone with little or no professional experience who is eager to learn from industry professionals and develop highly specialized skills.

• Starting Pay $18.00
• $20.00 per hour (Entry Level) Posted pay range is for applicants with little to no professional experience. Compensation may be adjusted based on prior automotive detailing, tinting, PPF, paint correction, or related experience.
• What You'll Learn Our structured apprenticeship program is designed to develop future automotive protection specialists.

Professional vehicle washing techniques Interior detailing and restoration Paint decontamination Paint correction and machine polishing Ceramic coating preparation and application Window tint installation Paint Protection Film (PPF) software and pattern cutting PPF installation techniques Shop organization and workflow management Customer service and professionalism

Qualified employees may have opportunities to advance into: Lead Detailer Paint Correction Specialist Ceramic Coating Specialist Window Tint Installer Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installer Shop Operations Roles Tiered Onboarding Program All new hires participate in a structured training and evaluation program. Performance evaluations are conducted throughout the first year. Employees demonstrating strong performance, skill development, reliability, and professionalism may be eligible for compensation increases approximately every 90 days during their first year of employment.

• Referral Program Employees may participate in our referral program and have opportunities to earn additional commission-based compensation for qualified customer referrals in addition to their hourly pay.
