Job Description
Garvey Automotive Group is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Service Car Washer & Maintenance Person . This position combines car washing with routine building and facility maintenance to help ensure our customers receive an exceptional experience while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dealership environment. Job Responsibilities Include but not limited to: Vehicle Detailing Exterior washes for service customer vehicles Ensure all vehicles meet dealership quality standards before delivery Move and park vehicles as needed throughout the dealership property Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area and equipment Building & Facility Maintenance Perform routine building maintenance and minor repairs Assist with groundskeeping, including sweeping sidewalks, trash removal, and seasonal tasks Help with snow removal and ice control during winter months Replace light bulbs, air filters, and other routine facility components Monitor building conditions and report maintenance concerns to management Assist with special projects, facility improvements, and dealership upkeep as needed Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles Previous detailing, maintenance, janitorial, or automotive experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
