Overview Springer Body and Paint is a small family-owned and operated auto body shop serving the North Plains and Cornelius communities. We are currently looking for a dependable and motivated Body Shop Helper / Detailer to join our team. Join our dynamic team as a Detailer/Shop Helper and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and customer service. In this energetic role, you'll assist with vehicle cleaning, detailing, and shop maintenance, ensuring each car leaves looking pristine and customers are satisfied with their experience. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to develop your skills in automotive detailing, customer interaction, and shop operations. Whether you're passionate about cars or eager to learn new skills, this role provides a rewarding pathway to grow within the automotive industry. Responsibilities Vehicle detailing and cleaning Basic car washing and interior/exterior detailing Shop cleanup and janitorial duties Assisting technicians and office staff as needed Customer interaction and customer service Maintaining organized work areas and supplies General shop support duties Drive company vehicles for errands or transporting vehicles between locations when necessary Qualifications Valid driver's license required Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated Strong organizational skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Good communication and customer service skills Basic understanding of vehicle cleaning techniques preferred Benefits Paid vacation Medical insurance Dental insurance Family-oriented work environment Opportunity to learn and grow within the automotive industry Supportive team atmosphere
