About This Job Join our team as an Automotive Detailer and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional vehicle appearance. You transform vehicles, ensuring they look their best and exceed customer expectations. This position directly contributes to our reputation for quality and customer satisfaction, making every vehicle shine. Job Duties and Responsibilities Performs comprehensive Vehicle Detailing for a variety of automobiles, trucks, and other vehicles. Executes thorough Interior Detailing , including deep cleaning, sanitizing, and conditioning all surfaces. Completes meticulous Exterior Detailing , focusing on paint, wheels, and trim to restore and protect finishes. Conducts professional Car Washing using appropriate techniques and equipment. Performs detailed Vacuuming of vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, and floor mats. Applies Polishing compounds to remove minor imperfections and enhance paint clarity. Applies protective Waxing treatments to exterior surfaces, ensuring long-lasting shine and protection. Utilizes Buffing techniques to achieve a smooth, high-gloss finish. Executes Paint Correction to address swirl marks, scratches, and other paint defects. Applies specialized products and techniques for effective Stain Removal from upholstery and carpets. Inspects vehicles for cleanliness and quality, ensuring all standards are met before delivery. Maintains detailing equipment and work areas, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness. Adheres to all safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals and tools. New Car detail and Genesis Luxury pay rate (with Experience) - Hourly rate from $20.25 to $24.25 New Car detail pay rate (with no Experience) - Hourly rate from $18.75 to $22.75 Required Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent. Experience Experience in automotive detailing or a related field. Demonstrates a strong aptitude and willingness to learn professional detailing techniques. Knowledge/Skills Possesses strong knowledge of Vehicle Detailing processes and best practices. Understands proper use and application of cleaning agents, polishes, and protective coatings. Exhibits exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Manages time effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Applies expertise in Interior Detailing and Exterior Detailing . Proficiently performs Car Washing , Vacuuming , Polishing , Waxing , Buffing , Paint Correction , and Stain Removal . Works independently and as part of a team. Experience with advanced detailing equipment and techniques a plus Must hold a Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Physical Requirements/Work Conditions Regularly stands, walks, bends, kneels, and reaches for extended periods. Lifts and moves equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. Works with various cleaning chemicals and solutions. Performs tasks in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.
