Yingst Automotive About the Position We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Auto Detailer & Vehicle Acquisition Driver to join our dealership team. This position is responsible for getting vehicles retail-ready through professional cleaning and detailing, as well as picking up vehicles from local auctions and transporting them safely back to the dealership. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and understands that a clean, well-presented vehicle is an important part of the retail sales process. Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and detail vehicles for retail sale Wash, dry, vacuum, and clean vehicle interiors and exteriors Shampoo carpets and upholstery and clean windows, wheels, and tires Perform basic paint and interior touch-ups as needed Prepare vehicles for photographs, online listings, and customer delivery Inspect vehicles after detailing to ensure they meet dealership standards Pick up purchased vehicles from auto auctions and transport them safely to the dealership Complete auction pickup paperwork and verify vehicle information Keep the detailing area, equipment, and supplies clean and organized Maintain vehicles safely while they are in your possession Report any damage or mechanical issues noticed during pickup or detailing Assist with moving and organizing inventory around the dealership as needed Qualifications Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Ability to drive a Manual Transmission is preferred but not required Reliable transportation to and from work Previous automotive detailing experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Comfortable driving a variety of cars, trucks, and SUVs Strong attention to detail and pride in your work Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday Professional and responsible when representing the dealership at auctions What We Offer Competitive pay Part -time hours with the Opportunity to Move to Full-Time Opportunity for advancement Training provided A fast-paced automotive environment The opportunity to be an important part of preparing our inventory for sale
