Operate buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment safely and effectively.

Role:
As a Lot attendant/Detailer, you'll be the unsung hero of our dealership, ensuring our new and used vehicles are always looking their best. You'll work closely with our New/Used vehicle managers to keep our lot organized, attractive, and ready for customers. Your responsibilities include working at both the detail shop and the dealership on a rotating basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Wash, clean, and dry all our new and used vehicles weekly (Weather permitting) to keep them sparking.
  • Start each used vehicle every morning and let the New/Used vehicle manager know if any car will not start.
  • Keep our used cars displayed in a neat and attractive manner, rotating them to give our inventory a fresh, appealing look.
  • Remove sold used cars and replace them with new units, keeping our lot looking full and inviting.
  • Advise the New/Used vehicle managers of any mechanical or other work needed on our vehicles.
  • Maintain the dealership premises as directed by the director of operations, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Make our new cars ready for delivery according to vehicle delivery policies.
  • Fill all sold vehicles with gas, ensuring our customers drive away with a full tank and a smile.
  • Advise sales managers on any issues with vehicles sold ASAP.
  • Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to meet expectations.
. Use cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhanve the appearance of vehicles. . Perform inspections and maintain complete and accurate records of vehicle condition. . Move and park vehicles, delivering them to the correct locations or picking up owners/drivers as needed. . Maintain an adequate supply of detailing chemicals and reorder as needed. . Respond to client inquiries and fulfill their requests in a professional and courteous manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Graduate required
  • Valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Organized and able to manage time wisely

Primary environment:
Various conditions including cold and heat, and indoor/outdoor settings including warehouse, service area, and outside of the building. Walking primarily on unleveled surfaces for periodic periods throughout the day. Including surfaces that may have automotive fluids and uneven terrain.
