As an Automotive Detailer, you will play an important role in making sure our new, used, and service vehicles look their absolute best. You'll work as part of our detailing team to clean, protect, and prepare vehicles for customers while maintaining the high standards of Northtown Ford. What You'll Do Thoroughly clean and detail new and used vehicles. Wash, dry, vacuum, and clean vehicle exteriors and interiors. Clean carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, wheels, tires, and other vehicle surfaces. Apply waxes, sealants, tire dressings, and other approved detailing products. Perform interior detailing and stain removal. Polish and buff vehicles as needed. Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, display, sales, and service. Follow established detailing procedures and quality standards. Maintain and properly care for detailing tools and equipment. Keep the detailing area clean, organized, and safe. Use cleaning chemicals and products according to manufacturer and dealership guidelines. Communicate with the Detail Manager and other dealership departments regarding vehicle needs and priorities. Handle customer vehicles with care and professionalism. Assist the team with other vehicle preparation duties as needed. What We're Looking For Previous automotive detailing experience is preferred but not required. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Excellent attention to detail. Dependable and punctual. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and professional appearance. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Pride in producing high-quality work. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and work around vehicles for extended periods. Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
