Mobile Auto DetailerJob Overview We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and customer-focused Mobile Auto Detailer to join our growing team. In this role, you will travel to customer locations to provide premium vehicle detailing services while representing our company with professionalism and enthusiasm. You will be responsible for restoring, protecting, and maintaining the appearance of customer vehicles through comprehensive interior and exterior detailing services. In addition to vehicle care, this position plays an important role in promoting our business within the community. Team members will assist with distributing marketing materials, generating customer referrals, and helping build brand awareness in assigned service areas. Key ResponsibilitiesVehicle Detailing Services Travel to residential, commercial, and fleet customer locations to perform mobile detailing services. Perform complete exterior vehicle cleaning, including hand washing, drying, wheel and tire cleaning, bug and tar removal, and application of tire dressing. Apply waxes, sealants, ceramic spray coatings, and paint protection products to preserve vehicle finishes. Conduct paint decontamination services, including clay bar treatment and iron removal when required. Perform paint correction and machine polishing to remove minor scratches, swirl marks, oxidation, and surface imperfections. Clean and detail vehicle windows, mirrors, trim, chrome, and exterior plastics. Thoroughly vacuum vehicle interiors, including carpets, floor mats, seats, trunks, and hard-to-reach areas. Shampoo carpets and upholstery using professional-grade extraction equipment. Clean and condition leather seats and interior surfaces. Detail dashboards, door panels, center consoles, vents, cup holders, and interior trim components. Remove stains, odors, pet hair, and debris from vehicle interiors. Apply interior protectants and UV protection products to preserve vehicle surfaces. Perform engine bay cleaning and dressing when requested. Inspect vehicles before and after service to ensure quality standards are met. Customer Service Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times. Communicate with customers regarding service expectations, recommendations, and vehicle conditions. Address customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure customer satisfaction before departing each job site. Marketing & Business Development Distribute flyers, door hangers, business cards, and promotional materials in targeted neighborhoods and commercial areas. Promote company services to potential customers while maintaining a positive and professional image. Identify opportunities for referrals, repeat business, and upselling additional services. Assist with local marketing events, community outreach efforts, and promotional campaigns. Capture before-and-after photos of completed work for marketing and social media purposes. Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance Maintain cleanliness and organization of the company service vehicle and detailing equipment. Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need replenishment. Properly operate and maintain pressure washers, extractors, polishers, generators, vacuums, and other detailing equipment. Follow all company safety procedures and environmental guidelines. QualificationsRequired Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting for extended periods. Strong communication and customer service skills. Preferred Previous experience in automotive detailing, car washing, paint correction, ceramic coating application, or related automotive services. Experience operating polishing machines, extractors, steam cleaners, and pressure washing equipment. Sales, marketing, or customer-facing experience.
