In this energetic role, you will operate vehicle wash equipment, perform detailed exterior and interior cleaning, and ensure every vehicle leaving our facility looks its absolute best. Duties Operate vehicle wash systems, including automated and manual equipment, to thoroughly clean passenger cars with precision and care Perform vehicle exterior washing, including pre-wash, soap application, rinsing, and drying using professional cleaning tools and equipment Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers to restore shine and remove minor surface imperfections Detail vehicle interiors by vacuuming, wiping surfaces, cleaning windows, and maintaining overall cleanliness inside the vehicle Apply safe work practices when handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and performing heavy lifting tasks to ensure safety for yourself and others Maintain the cleanliness of the auto detailing facility by organizing supplies, cleaning tools, and ensuring a safe working environment Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer questions, explaining services offered, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the process Skills Experience operating standard passenger cars with manual transmission is preferred but not required Knowledge of safe work practices when handling cleaning chemicals, heavy lifting, and operating automotive buffers or buffing machines Familiarity with vehicle paint correction techniques and automotive buffing processes for achieving optimal shine Ability to perform vehicle exterior washing efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances the customer experience Experience in vehicle interior detailing including vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and window cleaning Prior auto detailing or custodial experience is advantageous for understanding cleaning procedures and equipment use but not required Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively in an auto detailing or janitorial setting Physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and standing for extended periods during busy shifts
