Overview Join our team as a Semi Truck Detailer/Shop Helper and become a vital part of maintaining our fleet's cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance! Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and detailing of semi trucks, including washing, buffing, vacuuming, and interior cleaning to ensure top-notch vehicle presentation. Use automotive buffers and cleaning tools to restore vehicle surfaces, making sure each truck looks its best. Assist with general shop duties such as organizing supplies, maintaining cleanliness of the work area, and janitorial tasks to promote a safe and efficient environment. Support with vehicle maintenance tasks like minor repairs under supervision. Safely lift heavy equipment or parts as needed for cleaning or maintenance tasks while adhering to safe work practices. Drive company vehicles when necessary for moving trucks within the facility or to designated locations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with team members and ensuring vehicles meet cleanliness standards before delivery or dispatch. Requirements Prior experience in auto detailing facilities or car washes is highly preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift. Knowledge of vehicle cleaning techniques including buffing, polishing, and detailing processes. Familiarity with custodial or janitorial work to maintain a clean shop environment. Experience with automotive buffers, window tinting, or similar detailing tools is a plus. Strong understanding of safe work practices when handling chemicals, equipment, or performing physical tasks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate shop vehicles as needed.
