CAR DETAILERS NEEDED

McLean, Virginia and the surrounding Northern Virginia/Washington, DC metro area DayOne Cleaning is looking for experienced mobile car detailers to serve customers at their homes and approved locations throughout the region.

THE POSITION
Complete interior, exterior, and full-service details Travel to customers' homes or approved locations Follow the service checklist for each appointment Inspect vehicles for pre-existing damage Take before-and-after photos Deliver a professional, five-star experience Paint correction, ceramic coating, and other specialized services are not required.
REQUIREMENTS
At least 3 years of professional car-detailing experience Demonstrated experience detailing Tesla vehicles or comparable EV and luxury vehicles Familiarity with safely cleaning touchscreens, cameras, sensors, premium interior materials, frameless glass, and charging-port areas Your own professional equipment, products, chemicals, towels, and supplies A mobile setup capable of servicing customers at their locations Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and smartphone Strong communication and attention to detail Dependable, punctual, and authorized to work in the United States Willingness to complete a background check Photos of previous detailing work
INSURANCE
Appropriate business insurance for mobile auto detailing Coverage for customer vehicles while in your care, custody, or control Appropriate business-use or commercial auto coverage Proof of insurance before accepting appointments
COMPENSATION
Paid per completed job Approximately $30-$40+ per working hour depending on the vehicle, service, and completion time Detailers keep 100% of customer tips Independent detailers and mobile-detailing business owners are welcome.
