Job Description

Mobile Auto Detailer (Training Provided | Growth Opportunity) We're a growing mobile detailing business looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to take pride in their work. This is not a "show up and coast" type of job—our standard is simple: every vehicle leaves better than the customer expected. If you're looking for consistent work, a skill you can build on, and a path to grow into higher-paying services or leadership, this could be a strong fit. Temporary position ends on October 31. However, depending on business and local market conditions, there is a moderate to high likelihood of the position becoming permanent. What You'll Be Doing Full interior and exterior details Complete details (interior + exterior) Add-on services (engine bay cleaning, protective coatings, etc.) Opportunities to learn higher-skill services like polishing and ceramic coatings Traveling to customer locations (mobile detailing) You'll train with the owner and/or an experienced detailer. Pay & Incentives $18/hr during training (typically ~1 month depending on progress) $20-$22/hr or more after training + $5 bonus for every 5-star review you earn + 10% commission on any jobs booked through your referral code 100% of tips go to you (or split evenly between detailers on that job) Consistent schedule of 25-30 hours per week minimum. Schedule Jobs scheduled Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Flexible scheduling within that window Growth Opportunities Pay increases as you learn new services Opportunity to specialize in higher-paying work (ceramic coatings, polishing) Potential to move into a trainer or leadership role as the business grows Requirements Detailing experience Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work outdoors for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Reliable transportation to drive to job sites within the tri-cities (West Richland, Richland, Kennewick, Pasco, Benton City) What We're Looking For This role is best for someone who: Shows up on time, every time Communicates clearly and consistently Takes pride in doing high-quality work Can work independently without constant supervision Work Environment High standards for quality and customer satisfaction Small team with direct communication and no micromanagement Important If you're someone who struggles with reliability, consistency, or attention to detail, this likely won't be a good fit.
