This role is vital in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are properly sanitized and readily available for food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting the hospitality industry. Duties Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas to meet health and safety standards Assist with bussing tables and clearing food service areas as needed Support food preparation tasks such as basic food handling and setup when required Ensure all items are stored properly after cleaning to prevent contamination or damage Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service times Follow proper procedures for handling food and cleaning supplies in compliance with health regulations Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required Knowledge of food handling, cleaning protocols, and safety standards in a kitchen setting Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions accurately Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 40 pounds) when necessary Experience with banquet service, hotel kitchens, or culinary operations is a plus A positive attitude and willingness to support team members in various roles within the kitchen or dining area
