Job Summary You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless and ready for use, while also assisting with food preparation to support our culinary team. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for both staff and guests, contributing to the overall success of our hospitality operation. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational culinary skills and gain valuable restaurant, catering, or hotel experience. Duties Thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper sanitation procedures Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, or portioning items under supervision Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including counters, floors, and storage areas to uphold health standards Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and efficiently during service hours Help with basic catering setup and cleanup for events or banquets as needed Follow food handling safety protocols to ensure hygiene and prevent contamination Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes and smooth workflow during busy periods Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with restaurant or hotel operations enhances your ability to adapt quickly in this role Experience with food preparation tasks such as chopping or assembling ingredients is a plus Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards is beneficial Prior banquet or catering experience can help you excel in supporting large-scale events A background in culinary arts or kitchen work demonstrates your commitment to the hospitality industry This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build their culinary foundation while contributing to a vibrant team.
