• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash as needed.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including bussing tables and helping cooks with basic culinary duties.
• Ensure that all items are properly stored after washing to maintain organization within the kitchen.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak service times.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly. Requirements
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
