The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with our established recipes and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety practices and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Line Cook will collaborate closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Assist in menu planning, including seasonal offerings and special dietary needs. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards throughout the preparation and cooking process. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary requests from guests. Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management. Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional service to guests. Follow all health regulations and safety guidelines while working in the kitchen. Experience Previous experience in a food service or culinary role is preferred, particularly in meal preparation or as a Dietary Aide. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry. Strong skills in food preparation techniques, including chopping, grilling, baking, and sautéing. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
