Job Description

The Banquets Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. This position is responsible for washing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans while ensuring all the banquet kitchen equipment and work areas meet food safety and sanitation standards. The Dishwasher supports the banquet kitchen team by keeping supplies clean and readily available, allowing chefs and cooks to operate efficiently. Key Responsibilities Operate commercial dishwashing machines to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment Wash pots, pans, trays, and kitchen tools by hand when required Ensure all items are properly sanitized according to health and safety regulations Inspect dishes and utensils for cleanliness and rewash items when necessary Maintain a continuous flow of clean dishware for kitchen and dining operations Assist banquet kitchen staff with basic cleaning and organization tasks Deliver clean dishes, utensils, and cookware to appropriate storage areas Assist with restocking dishwashing chemicals, detergents, and sanitizing supplies Keep dishwashing stations, sinks, floors, and surrounding areas clean and organized Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly Empty trash and recycling containers and ensure proper waste disposal Assist with banquet kitchen closing duties including deep cleaning tasks Follow all health department sanitation standards and food safety guidelines Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructions Maintain a safe work environment by following proper lifting techniques and workplace safety procedures Comply with all Mission Ranch safety, health, and sanitation policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Strong attention to cleanliness and organization Ability to work cooperatively with kitchen staff and other team members Requires the ability to work professionally under time constraints and manage multiple priorities Ability to work on flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs Ability to sustain extended physical activity, including standing, bending, and lifting, in a busy kitchen setting Ability to work with hot or cold water, cleaning tools, dish soap, and detergents Education & Experience High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Minimum one (1) year of experience in an equivalent position at a premier restaurant in a fast-paced kitchen environment is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen Work Environment A banquet kitchen setting located within a hospitality property, involving regular interaction with staff, management, clients, and guests Mission Ranch provides reasonable accommodation to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
