Steward/Dishwasher The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills - 2.2 West Hollywood, CA Job Details $29.00 - $29.60 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dishwashing areas, and food preparation equipment. This role supports the culinary team by ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient working environment in accordance with hotel standards and health regulations. Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans in a timely manner Ensure all kitchen equipment and tools are properly cleaned, dried, and stored in designated areas Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, including floors, walls, and storage spaces Remove trash and recycling, ensuring proper disposal procedures are followed Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and equipment cleaning Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed Follow proper procedures for handling and using cleaning chemicals Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times Demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist others Remain dependable and able to perform duties in a fast-paced, high-demand environment Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous dishwashing, stewarding, or kitchen support experience preferred but not required Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation practices Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals preferred Job Description The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dishwashing areas, and food preparation equipment.
