Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher, where your energy and dedication will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and assist with basic kitchen tasks to ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for both staff and guests. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will help uphold our high standards of food service and hospitality. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation by washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients to support chefs and kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, sanitizing utensils, cookware, and work surfaces to meet health and safety regulations. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Help with bussing tables and clearing dishes during service to promote a smooth dining experience. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times. Assist in basic food preparation tasks under supervision, such as assembling ingredients or portioning items. Contribute to a team-oriented environment by supporting colleagues with various kitchen duties as needed. Skills Strong understanding of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices. Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering operations is highly desirable. Familiarity with bussing, cleaning, and basic food preparation techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues during busy periods. Knowledge of banquet or catering experience is a plus but not required. Basic culinary skills or previous kitchen experience will help you excel in this role.
