Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep professional, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment while assisting with food preparation to support our culinary operations. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help ensure guests receive exceptional service in a lively, fast-paced setting. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in food handling, kitchen operations, and hospitality. Responsibilities Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness and safety standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning items under supervision Support the kitchen team during busy service periods, including bussing tables and clearing plates as needed Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to health and safety regulations to prevent contamination Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly Help with setting up catering or banquet events by organizing supplies and assisting with food prep tasks Follow proper waste disposal procedures and ensure recycling protocols are observed Skills Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hotel environments is preferred but not required Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Basic cooking skills or culinary experience are a plus for supporting food prep activities Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with bussing, serving, or hospitality operations enhances your fit for this role Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food safety regulations Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by ensuring our kitchen remains spotless and well-organized.
