Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper to support our kitchen operations. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, washing dishes and kitchen equipment, and assisting kitchen staff with basic food preparation and organizational tasks as needed. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly. Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries. Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies. Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and portioning ingredients. Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces and kitchen equipment. Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies. Perform additional cleaning and kitchen support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to cleanliness and organization. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. From $17.50 per hour
