We produce scratch-made food for corporate clients, social events, and private venues. The Role We're looking for a reliable, hard-working Dishwasher/Prep Cook to support our kitchen operations out of our Gardena facility. This is a dual-role position — you'll keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly while also supporting our prep team with basic food preparation tasks. The right person takes pride in their station, moves with a sense of urgency, and understands that clean kitchens and solid prep work are the foundation of great events. What You'll Do Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, pots, pans, sheet trays, and kitchen equipment Maintain cleanliness of dish stations, prep areas, floors, and trash throughout your shift Assist kitchen team with food prep tasks including washing, peeling, cutting, portioning, and packaging Follow all recipes, portion guides, and prep lists as directed by the Head Chef or Sous Chef Receive and properly store deliveries as needed Label and date all prepped items per food safety standards Support catering production for events of all sizes Communicate proactively with kitchen leadership when supplies run low or issues arise Maintain compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards (California Health Code) What We're Looking For Prior kitchen, dishwashing, or food prep experience preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-focused kitchen environment Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Dependable — you show up on time, ready to work Positive attitude and team-first mentality Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Food Handler's Card required (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Basic English communication skills required; bilingual is a plus Schedule & Compensation Part-time, 25-35 hours per week Shifts may include weekdays and weekends depending on schedule
