Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our food service environment, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff. Support bussing efforts by clearing tables and transporting dirty dishes to the dishwashing area. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling processes. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in banquet setups and breakdowns when required. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
