Must be available for Day, Mid, and Night shifts , including full weekend availability Job Overview Seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwashers to join the Food & Nutrition Services team for a healthcare system in Irvine. This is a 3-month contract opportunity with the potential to gain experience in a respected healthcare environment. The Dishwasher will primarily work in the dish room and may also assist in retail, production, or catering areas. Responsibilities include dishwashing, tray line support, food transport, general cleanup, and trash removal while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service quality. Key Responsibilities Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Assist with tray line and food service support Transport food and supplies to designated service areas Remove trash and maintain a clean work environment Follow sanitation, infection control, and safety procedures Use cleaning chemicals according to established guidelines Report any misuse of supplies or equipment to supervisors Work collaboratively with kitchen and food service staff Required Qualifications Ability to speak, read, and understand English Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and stand for extended periods Flexible schedule with availability for all shifts and weekends Preferred Qualifications Previous dishwashing, food service, or customer service experience Knowledge of food production and service operations Ability to perform basic calculations using a calculator Understanding of proper body mechanics and workplace safety
