Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all kitchen tools are organized and readily available for use. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Support the culinary team by bussing tables and helping to clear away used dishes and utensils from dining areas. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during peak service times. Skills Experience in catering or food preparation is preferred but not required. Familiarity with kitchen operations in a hotel or restaurant setting is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others in the kitchen as needed. Knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial for ensuring safety in food preparation areas.
