About Us:
We are a busy and well-loved Japanese sushi restaurant located in the heart of Monterey, known for our fresh ingredients, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere. We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team and help keep our kitchen running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dishwashing area Assist with basic food prep or cleaning tasks as needed Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored properly Support kitchen staff and follow all safety and hygiene guidelines
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting preferred, but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
