Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. This energetic position offers an opportunity to be an essential part of a fast-paced culinary operation, supporting chefs and food service staff to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support culinary staff Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, including sinks, counters, and storage areas Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safety standards are met Help with general cleaning duties in the kitchen area to uphold hygiene standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during busy service periods Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization Experience with bussing tables or supporting catering events is a plus Basic understanding of kitchen operations, including food preparation and serving processes Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude towards hospitality duties This role offers a rewarding opportunity to grow within the hospitality industry while ensuring our kitchens operate smoothly.
