Duties Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques. Support the kitchen team by preparing ingredients for meal production and ensuring timely readiness for cooking and serving. Handle food safely by following safety standards in production and proper food handling procedures. Operate food preparation equipment safely and effectively, including mixers, slicers, and other kitchen tools. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of supplies, ingredients, or equipment while maintaining safety protocols. Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to sanitation guidelines and safety standards in food production areas. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Basic knife skills and familiarity with slicing techniques are highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety management practices and safe handling of food products. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of daily responsibilities. Strong attention to detail in cleaning procedures and food preparation tasks. Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and following recipes accurately.
