Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using proper cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies to support kitchen staff. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Follow food handling safety standards and sanitation protocols at all times to ensure a hygienic environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely turnover of dishes during busy service periods. Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Basic understanding of food handling safety and sanitation procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with a team-oriented attitude. Experience with food preparation or catering is a plus but not mandatory. Enthusiastic about developing culinary skills and gaining hospitality industry experience.
