In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and cookware are sanitized and ready for use. Your bilingual skills will help facilitate clear communication with the lead dishwasher. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment to meet health and safety standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as cutting raw meats Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service times Follow food handling procedures meticulously to ensure safety and hygiene compliance Communicate effectively with team members in both English and the designated second language to coordinate tasks efficiently Skills Bilingual proficiency in English and another language to enhance team communication and guest interactions Experience in bussing tables or supporting food service operations preferred Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety protocols within restaurant Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining sanitation standards Basic cooking or culinary experience beneficial but not required Excellent teamwork skills combined with a positive attitude in fast-paced hospitality settings
