The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring a smooth flow of operations in a fast-paced food service environment. This role provides an essential support function that helps uphold the highest standards of hygiene and food safety, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods. Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates during meal service to support overall restaurant operations. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and assisting with basic food handling. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and storage spaces. Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations. Assist with catering and banquet setups by ensuring all dishware and utensils are clean and ready for use. Help with light cleaning duties throughout the kitchen to ensure a safe and organized work environment. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Experience with bussing, food preparation, or catering is a plus. Familiarity with restaurant or hotel operations, including culinary or kitchen experience, is advantageous. Prior work involving cleaning or food handling demonstrates reliability and attention to detail.
