This position is responsible for maintaining a clean kitchen, assisting with food preparation, and supporting daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to learn basic cooking and kitchen skills.
Responsibilities:
Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organized Assist with food preparation Learn and assist with basic cooking tasks as needed Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen Refill ice bins and stock kitchen supplies Take out trash and recycling Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist kitchen staff with other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
No experience required; restaurant experience is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to learn kitchen prep and cooking skills Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
