Job Overview The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment used in the restaurant, enabling smooth service and compliance with health and safety regulations. The role offers a mix of dishwashing and general cleaning tasks and is an integral part of the kitchen team.

Responsibilities:
Dishwashing & Cleaning Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using both manual and automated dishwashing methods. Ensure that items are cleaned and sanitized in all kitchen areas in accordance with health and safety regulations. Keep dishwashing station clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary cleaning supplies to ensure a continuous supply of clean items for the kitchen and front-of-house staff. Dry and store clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in the appropriate areas. Kitchen & Equipment Maintenance Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down and sanitizing surfaces and equipment, assisting with deliveries, and completing other daily cleaning tasks as assigned. Dispose of kitchen waste, ensuring that trash bins are emptied regularly. Assist with deep cleaning of kitchen areas, including ovens, grills, storage areas, floors, and mats. Health, Safety, & Sanitation Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation, ensuring cross-contamination is avoided at all times. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, adhering to safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines. Report any equipment malfunctions, hazards, or potential safety issues to Management in a timely manner. Team Collaboration Help with basic food prep and/or other kitchen tasks assigned by the Department Manager. Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth flow of service, especially during busy periods. Maintain effective communication with other team members to ensure that the kitchen operates efficiently. Qualifications & Requirements Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire. Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
