Position Summary:

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen. This position supports the culinary team by ensuring all dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and available for service.

Responsibilities:

Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently. Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, sinks, floors, and storage areas. Properly dispose of trash and recycling throughout shifts. Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries as needed. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards. Restock clean dishes and kitchen supplies to designated areas. Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and organizational tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout service. Perform opening and closing cleaning duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to cleanliness and detail. Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Reliable transportation. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
