Dishwasher South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150 From $17 an hour - Part-time, Full-time From $17 an hour - Part-time, Full-time Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Dishwasher, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. Your energetic and proactive approach will ensure that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless and ready for service, supporting our culinary staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in food service, catering, and hospitality operations while working in a lively, team-oriented atmosphere. Starting rate will be $17 an hour plus tip pool. Duties Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies to support the culinary team Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, kitchen floors, counters, and storage areas through regular cleaning and sanitation Support catering events by ensuring all serving ware and utensils are clean and ready for use during banquets or special functions Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with safety regulations Assist with light food prep tasks as needed to support the overall food service operation
