This position supports kitchen operations by ensuring a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using dishwashing machines or by hand. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishwashing and kitchen areas. Empty trash and recycling containers and keep waste areas clean. Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed. Assist with basic food preparation tasks when requested. Organize and properly store clean dishes and kitchen equipment. Clean and sanitize sinks, counters, shelving, and kitchen equipment. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations. Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management. Support kitchen staff during busy service periods. Qualifications No previous experience required; restaurant experience is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Work Environment Hot, wet, and fast-paced kitchen environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required. Skills Strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
