Responsibilities Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures. Aquire dirty dishes from cafe and transport them to the dishwashing station while adhering to manual handling safety standards. Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and ensuring dining areas remain tidy and welcoming. Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and other sanitation tools safely and effectively. Follow strict sanitation protocols to uphold kitchen health and safety standards, including proper food handling practices. Skills Strong understanding of sanitation procedures within a restaurant or catering environment. Knowledge of operating dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in hospitality or food service environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with kitchen health and safety standards to ensure compliance at all times. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards cleanliness, organization, and supporting overall cafe operations.
