In this vital role, you will assist in food preparation, service, and sanitation within a compassionate healthcare environment. Your energy and commitment will help ensure that meal times are enjoyable, nutritious, and safe for all residents. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact while developing valuable skills in food service and dietary operations. Responsibilities Assist with food production and meal preparation, following established recipes and safety guidelines Serve meals to residents with friendly customer service, ensuring proper portioning and presentation Maintain cleanliness of the dietary department by cleaning kitchen equipment, dishes and utensils, and dining areas in accordance with sanitation standards Support food handling procedures to promote food safety and prevent contamination Buss tables, clear trays, and assist with dishwashing to uphold a hygienic dining environment Help with basic cooking tasks under supervision to support daily meal service needs Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and kitchen operations to ensure compliance with health regulations Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of food production, preparation, serving, and sanitation practices Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy meal periods Experience with dietary departments or food service roles is advantageous Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining excellent customer service standards Basic understanding of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning or bussing duties as needed Embark on a meaningful journey where your dedication helps create a warm, nourishing environment for those in need. Pay:
