Dishwasher / Busser Blue Nest Position Overview Blue Nest is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Dishwasher / Busser to join our team. This position plays an important role in keeping our restaurant running smoothly by maintaining clean dishes, a clean dining area, and an organized workspace. The ideal candidate takes pride in cleanliness, works well under pressure, and is willing to jump in wherever the team needs help. You don't need to have restaurant experience; we're looking for someone with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Responsibilities Dishwashing & Kitchen Support Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Keep the dish area clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift. Take out trash and recycling as needed. Sweep and mop floors and maintain overall cleanliness of back-of-house areas. Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and prep tasks when needed. Properly handle cleaning chemicals and follow all sanitation procedures. Help keep kitchen equipment and work areas clean and organized. Bussing & Dining Room Support Clear and clean tables promptly and efficiently. Wipe and sanitize tables, chairs, and other guest areas. Reset tables and maintain a clean, welcoming dining room. Assist servers and other team members with running food, drinks, and other tasks when needed. Keep the dining room, entryway, and surrounding areas clean and presentable. Help maintain clean restrooms and other guest-facing areas as needed. Teamwork & Guest Experience Support servers, kitchen staff, baristas, and managers throughout the shift. Communicate effectively with the team. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even during busy periods. Be willing to take initiative and help wherever needed. Contribute to a welcoming and respectful workplace. Follow Blue Nest's standards for cleanliness, hospitality, and professionalism. Qualifications Reliable and punctual. Strong work ethic and willingness to stay busy. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods. Able to lift and carry items as needed. Strong attention to cleanliness and organization. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Restaurant experience is preferred but not required .
