Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will ensure the cleanliness and organization of all kitchenware, utensils, and food preparation areas. Your dedication to maintaining a spotless environment helps keep our kitchen running smoothly, supports food safety standards, and contributes to a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational culinary skills while working in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Duties Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed. Support the kitchen team by bussing tables and clearing used dishware during busy service times. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Help with general kitchen cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to ensure a safe environment. Collaborate with culinary staff during catering events or banquets to ensure timely setup and cleanup. Follow all food handling and safety protocols to promote health standards across the operation. Skills Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Basic understanding of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures. Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Knowledge of kitchen operations including bussing, food preparation, and cleaning practices. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in busy hospitality settings such as hotels or catering events. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads comfortably.
