Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient food service environment. Responsibilities Thoroughly wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques and sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and handling ingredients safely. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring the dining area remains clean and welcoming. Follow all food safety management standards and sanitation protocols to uphold health regulations. Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning tools safely and efficiently. Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of large trays or containers with proper technique to prevent injury. Maintain a clean work environment by regularly sanitizing surfaces, storage areas, and dishwashing stations. Skills Knowledge of food safety procedures and sanitation standards within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Experience with dishwashing, cleaning, and basic food handling techniques. Ability to operate kitchen equipment responsibly and efficiently. Strong manual handling skills, including heavy lifting and safe movement of supplies. Familiarity with food preparation support tasks such as bussing and assisting in food service operations. Good understanding of kitchen health and safety standards to prevent accidents or contamination.
