Job Description:

Dishwasher/Maintenance Position Overview:

The person in this position is responsible for ensuring the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware. Preparing kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking cook stations. Also keeps the restaurant clean and performs general maintenance as directed by supervisor, dining rooms, restrooms and lobby areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily Wash pots and pans. Dry pots and pans and put them away. Sweep and mop front line, serving area, dining room & bathrooms. Disinfects kitchen area to include floors, mats, and sinks. Removes trash and disposes of in designated areas. Thoroughly wash trash cans, spray and disinfect. Monitors restaurant, including front entrance, lobby, dining rooms, & restrooms, to ensure a well organized and clean environment Ensures all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored in appropriate areas. Reports necessary repairs or maintenance to supervisor as needed. Communicates health and/or safety concerns/violations immediately to management. Other Duties and Responsibilities Assist with all aspects of the day-to-day activities. All employees are responsible to assist where needed while on duty in the areas of dishwashing, cooking, shopping, and catering. All employees are required to place all personal belongings in the designated areas. All personal items including coats, hats, bags, etc…are not permitted in any work area. All employees are required to wash their hands prior to shift start and intermittently throughout the shift. All employees are required to wear a hat or hairnet.
