Experienced Restaurant Dishwasher Bacon Street Diner - 3.2 Clearwater, FL Job Details Full-time 11 hours ago Qualifications Pre-cooking preparation Food service cleaning Simple food item preparation Manual handling Full Job Description Looking for fast-paced dishwashers who are experienced with using high-temp dishwashing machines to help maintain cleanliness around our high-volume restaurant. Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading washing machines, stacking washed items appropriately as well as helping to maintain overall kitchen cleanliness. Additionally, our dishwashers assist in various bulk food prep activities.

Responsibilities Include:

Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas Load and unload dishwashing machines Wash specific items by hand (e.g. cutting boards, large pots and non-dishwasher-safe items) Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours Remove garbage regularly Sanitize the kitchen area, including kitchen walls Assist in daily bulk prep projects (e.g. portion pasta, peel & cut carrots, etc)

Requirements:

Previous work experience as a dishwasher at a full-service restaurant Ability to work in a fast paced environment Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines Availability to work weekend and evening shifts Over 18yrs old Physical demands of the job include but are not limited to: Standing and walking for up to 8 hour shifts Reaching, bending, stooping, lifting and carrying various items Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
