Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests. Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen. Assist with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met. Support kitchen staff by helping with food preparation tasks as needed. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Experience Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hospitality settings such as hotels, resturants, or banquet facilities is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen setting is essential. Basic knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial.
