Job Summary:

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen by washing dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. This role supports overall kitchen operations and ensures compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware. Ensure cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, surfaces, floors, and trash areas. Properly dispose of garbage and recycling throughout the shift. Organize and store clean dishes and utensils appropriately. Maintain a safe and organized dishwashing station. Refill cleaning supplies and notify supervisors of low inventory or equipment issues. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures as outlined by The Golden Hog policies. Assist kitchen staff with basic prep or stocking tasks as requested. Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a dishwasher or in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Dependable, punctual, and able to follow verbal and written instructions. Positive attitude and strong team player. Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Schedule:

Your standard work schedule will be five days per week, with two days off scheduled based on operational needs.
