Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies. Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables, clearing plates, and supporting kitchen staff with basic food handling duties. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Follow proper food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours. Assist in general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to uphold a hygienic environment. Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Basic understanding of food handling, cleaning protocols, and sanitation standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or dish racks. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Experience with bussing, food preparation, catering, or banquet service is a plus. Knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals is desirable. Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
