Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning procedures. Keep dishwashing stations clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to support food service staff during busy service times. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and prep work under supervision. Maintain high standards of cleanliness by regularly cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas. Follow proper food handling protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service and catering events. Skills Strong understanding of food handling safety practices and sanitation standards. Experience with bussing tables, food preparation, or catering environments is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel setting while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of cleaning procedures for commercial kitchens and dishwashing equipment. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations. Basic understanding of food service operations and hospitality industry standards. Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary support roles such as kitchen experience or banquet service.
