Profile Summary The Polisher / Sorter is responsible for ensuring all glassware, silverware, flatware, china, and service utensils are properly cleaned, polished, sorted, and organized for use throughout the hotel or restaurant. This role plays a critical part in maintaining presentation standards, sanitation requirements, and operational readiness for all food and beverage outlets and events. Polish glassware, silverware, flatware, china, and service utensils to company standards. Inspect items for cleanliness, water spots, chips, cracks, stains, or damage and remove defective items from service. Sort and organize all clean equipment into designated storage areas. Maintain adequate inventory levels of polished and ready-to-use service items. Safely transport dishware, glassware, and utensils between dishwashing areas, storage rooms, and service outlets. Assist with stocking banquet, restaurant, bar, and kitchen service stations. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines. Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of hazards. Report breakage, equipment issues, or inventory shortages to supervisors. Support the Stewarding team with additional cleaning and operational tasks as needed. Assist during special events, high-volume periods, and banquet functions.
