Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment by thoroughly washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. Your efforts ensure a smooth flow of food service operations, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to an exceptional guest experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational kitchen skills while working in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils using proper cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sanitizing workstations, sinks, and surrounding surfaces regularly. Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies as needed to support the culinary team. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware and equipment are clean and ready for use. Follow food handling safety guidelines and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely dishwashing during busy service hours. Help with general cleaning duties within the kitchen and dining areas to promote a safe and welcoming environment. Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or pots. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols. Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation standards. Experience with bussing tables or supporting food preparation is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting. Previous banquet, catering, or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
