Kitchen In Search Of A celebrated and highly distinguished catering company in the Tampa area is in search of a fast, organized and hardworking Dishwasher with a positive attitude to join our team. Position Overview The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in our kitchen. This position ensures all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use, supporting smooth food preparation and service for events. We are only interested in individuals who take pride in their work and are ready to jump in! This position is part time, three days a week; if the candidate shows promise, we can consider a hybrid-role with additional kitchen and/or warehouse responsibilities to make it a five-day work week. Key Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using both industrial dishwashing machines and manual methods. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, storage areas, and equipment. Organize and store clean kitchenware, serverware, china, glassware, utensils, etc. in designated areas. Clean and treat wooden boards appropriately by hand, storing them after the cleaning process. Dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations. Monitor dishwashing supplies and report shortages to the manager on duty. Sweep and mop the floor in the kitchen, break room, and any other areas upon request. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines. Sort and stock product delivered to the kitchen in the designated areas. If willing and able (and with prior experience), assist with basic kitchen prep tasks when needed (e.g., peeling vegetables, portioning ingredients). Work Environment Flexibility to work mid-morning to early evening shifts, every other weekend, and holidays as event schedules require. Work may involve hot, humid and/or wet, and noisy conditions. Qualifications Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills. Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience required. Spanish and/or Thai-speaking not required, but a plus!
